Hair Today

Is anyone else tired of my dumb, flat hair or is it just me? Perhaps it is time for me to get a new 'do (and a new 'do rag to go with it, JustJohnny loves his.) Maybe I'll take my birthday money and actually go to a nice place for once. Is Bumble and Bumble all it's cracked up to be? I looked through the Style Book on their website and mostly I found the cuts confusing and kind of frightening.

Now if only I could find a way to score some birthday money... Pop is sending a Target Gift Card so I can buy a microwave, although this will present its own new challenge as my apartment has about two square feet of countertop space. Has anyone ever suspended a microwave from their ceiling? I bet LaHipster could do it...

we keep some items on a tv tray, and we put in shelves for a toaster, so those are some ideas.

one salon: dopdop, lori. amazing. there are less expensive people there, but she is well worth it (anyone at the salon will do genius work).

Nance,

Here's an idea. Build a shelf for the microwave. Mark did that to fit our toaster. Maybe he could give you some advice on how to do it.

I hope this doesn't post twice. The first time I did it, it didn't work somehow.

Mondo, please hook me up with the info for that Salon. Where are they located?

I have two carts from Target, one of which is a microwave cart- but on top of that I currently have my toaster and my coffee maker. I think I could move the coffee maker to the pantry cart, move the toaster to my counter and move my radio into my bedroom, but I really like having the radio in the kitchen. LaHipster put up that nice shelf around the top perimeter of her bedroom, and that's what I want in my kitchen. Something needs to be done soon- I bought a punch bowl for this goddamn party. A punch bowl. Where the hell am I going to store that?

Bumble & Bumble is awesome. I went there for a free cut once (as a hair model) and it was the best haircut of my life, not at all scary like the cuts on the website. Your stylist will look at your face and features and do something to flatter you specifically. I swear, for the two months the cut lasted, I got out of bed every morning with perfect hair. I never had to do a thing to it. And don't be afraid of the razor cut.

Thanks for the review, anonymous Cupcake reader. Maybe I'll try to get on the free cut list- I imagine it takes a little while for you to get called, and in the mean time try out dopdop. Bumble and Bumble is not too far away from my office so that might be good. Any idea what B&B charge for a cut?
