I swear, Blogger has a mind of its own when it comes to uploading these photos. Since I can't get this to look the way I want, just think, shabby grey = before; lovely lavender = after.

Frosting will hide a multitude of sins.

Nicely done Cups - will you find and paint me a new coffee table and dining room table as well. You can just ship them to me when you finish.
Is that a knitting page-a-day calendar I see on that stunning dresser? I gave 2 of those things as Christmas gifts this year. And one was for a coworker. The idea was that she'd keep it at work and then the 3 of us that are knitters could enjoy it too. But I think she's hoarding it at home. Someone should tell her that I wouldn't have given it to her if I thought she was going to do that.
Nice job on the dresser. :)
Thankfully, the purple paint stains on my floor are not visible in these photos.
Good eyes, Bugheart, that is a Knitting Page-A-Day Calendar that I snapped up at B&N when calendars were marked down 50%. Many of the patterns I toss out, but about 50% are worth saving, I find.
In joining a friend on her "blog team" - i somehow got a blogger account, but without having to start an actual blog. So Bugheart is actually her blog and not VBeta's alter ego.
Did you put new drawer pulls on that too??
So waitm Beth = VBeta? I'm confused. Anyway, good eye again. I put in new draw pulls. The three small drawers have one kind of pull and the bottom four have another. It looks great and I bought them at Target!
Sorry for the confusion. Yes, when I signed up to be on my friend's (Bugheart) blog team, I didn't realize that the name I entered (Beth) was going to appear whenever I posted a comment to a blog and was logged in. I had been putting off signing up for a blogger account FOREVER because I couldn't come up with a good blog name. Lame, I know. Now I have a log-in but still no blog.
