I heard about "Marry Your Baby Daddy Day" which took place in Brooklyn a couple of weeks ago, but I did not know that Cake Man Raven donated the cakes for the event. Thanks to Bizzy for sending me this blurb about the special day from The New Yorker. Reading this piece, it sounds like these couples were coherced into marriage by a publicity-seeking control-freak author who lives with her mother, or maybe it was the free champagne that hastened these couples down the aisle. Hey, who am I to judge? I'm Italian and let me tell you, if someone gets knocked up you can be damned sure there is going to be a wedding, we just make it happen before the baby is born. Hopefully before the bride starts showing, that way is less uncomfortable for the Priest.

Hey you, I went to one of the 'Marry Your Baby Daddy' weddings in Queens, Raquel and Patrick's and it was awesome, especially the cake... and it was genuine. They had to go through months of counseling before time to and other stuff...
Okay, I'll take your word for it. Did you know you were eating Cake Man cake? Dude, one of these days we need to take a field trip over there. I want to try some of his cakes besides the famouse Red Velvet.
