Saturday I move to Prospect Heights, a neighborhood I am very excited to live in and explore. But curteousy of the Daily Heights Message Board, I've been learning alot about crime in the neighborhood. Official statistics from the 77th Precinct here. The bad news: rape is frequently under-reported. The good news: murder is rarely under-reported.
Just don't tell my Pop. We're dealing with a man who, when I'm walking down the street talking on my phone to him asks, "What was that? Are you being mugged? You're being mugged right now and you just don't want to say anything!"
