Mark Your Calendar

One of the reasons I love my neighborhood is because I'm so close to the Brooklyn Academy of Music, an amazing cinema and performance complex. Recently, though, when I've gone to purchase tickets for events they've already sold out. So, I decided I would not be caught unawares this time - I just went ahead and bought a few tickets and decided I could figure out later who to bring. So, I have two tickets to the Paul Simon American Songbook concert in April and two tickets to a performance of Endgame starring John Turturro in May. Let me know if you're interested in being my date.

Also, my first issue of The New Yorker, my pledge gift for my donation to WNYC, arrived yesterday. Intelligentsia, here I come.

The movie when the two chappies wake up intertwined is called Y Tu Mama Tambien. Seen?

You're into Chuck Pollynayuk? Sick.

We skipped the party, ate at a diner. Should this be an email?

Dude, what I was trying to tell you was that I've never seen any Almodovar.

Yeah, I sweat Chuck. Haven't read his most recent two, though. I would recomend Choke and Diary.

Nah, there's no such thing as privacy on the internet. We should maybe co-blog? I'm not really carrying my weight around here.

I wonder if there are still tickets available for Endgame. We are seriously considering coming up for that on the weekend of Mar. 25th.

Did you mean May? I'm pretty sure Endgame runs in May. Follow the BAM link to see if there are still tickets!

Woops, I meant Apr. 25th. That's the last weekend of E's spring break. Which is usually in March, so that's prob. why I typed March. But yeah, opening weekend is in April. We might come to your hood. Consider this your advanced warning.

p.s. E played Hamm in a production in Ireland a while back. :)
