I love to receive mail. And today was a banner mail day here at the Muffin Tin I received both an explanation of my dental benefits and an invitation to a wedding shower for SmartyPants that is being thrown by someone I've never heard of before. And at work my newest order from Sunshine Yarns arrived. Hand-dyed fine-gauge sock yarn: score!
Oh, oh and also. Also, I received a prize from Lord of the Barnyard for winning a little contest he sometimes hosts on his blog. I can't really disclose the contents of the Prize Pack but I can tell you the prize was not poo, which, in the back of my mind, I had feared. Instead there was some curious and puzzling items, including some relics that bespoke of a past relationship the farmer enjoyed with Up With People!, which I had previously thought existed only as a punchline for jokes. Yes. The mind boggles. Anyway, it's all lovely. Thanks, Lord of the Barnyard.
