Okay, I know I said I didn't want to talk about cupcakes again for a while, but this is for a good cause. Thanks to tk and LaHipster for putting me wise. As you may have read in Gothamist, starting today and running through October 2nd, if you visit a participating bakery and purchase a cupcake, be sure to tell them you want to support Cupcakes for a Cause. Each bakery will donate part of the proceeds to the CancerCare for Kids program. Complete info here. Note that two of the participating bakeries are Billy's and Crumb's, two that I've been meaning to hit up, so let's make a cupcake date and put our sugar rush to good use.
