A high-school intern filed a sexual harassment suit against a male colleague at the Greenwood Credit Union, a place where I spent two happy summers as a bank teller and six miserable months as a loan officer. Knowing the "male colleague" involved, I will say that I am not surprised and that is about as far as I will go, not wishing to test the media legitimacy of blogs, the First Ammendment, and find myself sharing a cell with Judith Miller.
The Intern claims that after she reported the harassment to her manager she was fired later that day, despite a previous offer that she stay on for the rest of the summer and assume a salaried position. Subtle. Very subtle.
