"You need to read harder books. And I'm sorry, but Amelia Bedelia is just too easy for you!"
-presumably said by my neighbor to his 8-year old daughter

This also could be said about me. Do you have my copy of the last Mrs. PiggleWiggle book? I can't find it anywhere!
Mrs. Piggle Wiggle was also a class act. I remember often invoking her lesson not to tattle-tale to my brother.
This was actually an issue for me, because I was a very advanced reader as a child, but of course, you want to be cool and read the same books your friends are reading. Besides, Amelia Bedelia is hillarious. They tell her to draw a bath and she gets out a pad and pencil. Genius.
