Okay, so I've been lost in the world of knitting blogs, searching for some good ones to link to this site. Those who know me, know that I'm a pretty hard core knitter. My poor roommates frequently have to step over tangled messes of yarn in the living room; the other night at the Tea Lounge I handed a skein to The Princess of Darkness and said, here, ball this. "I'm not going to ball your yarn! Who do you think I am?" Damn, I miss SmartyPants. And yes, on occasion, I have been known to go into the bathroom with the new PatternWorks Catalog and not emerge for quite some time. You may consider this my "yarn porn". So although I spend a lot of time knitting, I don't really blog about it much. And since I don't have a digital camera, and don't post many photos at all, I certainly am not able to post photos of my work.
But soon I will be moving closer to Stitch Therapy, a yarn store that is noteable for its chill owner, Maxine, who always remembers me. I also hope to join a Stitch N'Bitch in Prospect Heights, so knitting is on the brain.
Here are some good kntting blogs I have found. Now, here is what I like to see in a knitting blog: lots of photos, patterns, projects. Here's what I don't like: lots of photos of your cat/boyfriend, excessive chatting. If you think you know of a knitting blog I might enjoy, please send it along. In the mean time, enjoy Knitting Sunshine, Knitter Natter, Whispering Pine. Also, Knitty's new issue is devoted to men who knit. Hot.

Thanks, Jesse. I'm not a crochet-er myself, but it's always nice to meet a happy hooker.
