Quality People, Quality Blogs.

These aren't no crappy wholesale blogs, here. These are blogs created by actual friends of mine. You can check them out to see what the art form is supposed to look like.

Mark is a friend from Vienna, from a time when we were both younger and stupider, if you can believe it. Many people think Mark is gay because he owns pink Prada shoes and likes to go antiquing. Turns out, this is not true. Mark writes about Art.

Garrett Graff is my best friend, and at one time it truly looked like we were cut from the same cloth. Two bright young people with political aspirations, incapable of taking "no" for an answer and destined for great things. As I visited with Garrett in his beautiful apartment this weekend, I couldn't help but wonder, What the hell happened to me? To catch a glimpse of what might have been, or to read up on all things DC Media-related, check out his Fishbowl.

Mark, I'll be checking into your exploits at Norms. It reminds me of when This American Life did the episode "24 Hours at the Golden Apple". The next time I'm in Chicago, I've definately got to go to The Golden Apple, order the Mickey Mouse pancakes and see if Ira drops by.

Nancy,
Great to hear from you! Nice words about Garrett. Time for you to find something to do worthy of your intelligence. Call if want to. Nancy in Vermont
