It would be so much more flattering if he knew he was flirting.

Busy days at work. I've been getting Frau Foxtrot and now the new New Guy settled. Yes, I'm aware I'm going to need to shift around the nicknames.

Also, the Boss told me that soon, although probably not sooner than this Fall, we are going to start a program where members of our Credit Team in Germany rotate through our New York office for one month terms. I will play a big part in setting this whole shebang up. This program has been in discussion for five years and the Germans are very excited that it is finally going to happen. Remember that these are the really cool people I met on my trip to Mainz, and that they are mostly in their early 30's, closest by far to my age.

The funny thing is that they have started calling me, asking if we can hang out when they come to New York and trying to figure out if I know who is scheduled to be the first one to come over. I tell them that I honnestly don't know.

My sweet, mutual crush Der Man called this morning and we chatted a while in English. I told him that the guys in the office tease me, they want to know when I'm going to have a housewarming party for my new apartment. Der Man said, "When I am in New York I am really hoping that I get to see your apartment." Yes, I am hoping so too.
